COSDEP promotes a sustainable agro ecological farming program that trains smallholder farmers in
organic crop diversification, soil and water conservation, and natural pest control for sustainability.
The Organic Gardening for schools , abbreviated as; (OGaS) program is designed to benefit the entire school youth. We
target the interested pupils especially the ones in the 4K clubs and others who will want to join in the 4
voluntarily.
Modern farming methods often referred to as conventional farming have a profound impact on
environment. Poor farming practices affect the water quality upstream through residues and erosion
At COSDEP, we are dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and value addition within our community.
By adding value to local produce such as root and tubers, honey, herbs and spices, milk and fruits.
As an organization, we appreciate the importance of forging and sustaining relevant partnerships
and relationships with other organizations that complement our community development work.
